Dawn Fry 

Dawn is a graduate of Cookeville High School and received her undergraduate degree from Tennessee Tech University. She graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 1999 and has been practicing law in the Upper Cumberland since 2000, specializing in Adoption Law, Special Education Law and Conservatorships.

She currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Putnam County Board of Education,Chairman of Rising Above Ministries and Chairman of Exceptional Bean Board. She has been appointed by the Governor to the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities and the Governor’s Advisory Council for Students with Disabilities. Dawn was an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Tennessee Tech University for more than ten years. Dawn has been married to Shawn Fry for more than 30 years and has twins, Sydney and Austin.

Brett Knight, a resident of Overton County, is a graduate of Belmont School of Law. He began his law career as a prosecutor for the 13th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Since entering into private practice, Brett has handled cases ranging from 1st degree homicide to simple possession of narcotics. Brett has also defended civil cases involving personal injury and civil lawsuits. He is also a member of Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

Dana R. Looper Attorney at Law located in Cookeville, Tennessee is an award-winning trial lawyer. Her practice focuses on civil litigation. Dana personally handles each client’s case from the initial interview to the Tennessee Supreme Court, if necessary.

She received her J.D. from the Nashville School of Law in 2018 and graduated magna cum laude from TTU. Prior to becoming an attorney, she was a police officer for over nine years holding ranks of sergeant and public information officer. She has worked as an attorney at Fry, Knight, & Looper for over 5 years.

Dana is the Special Judge for the city of Cookeville. She currently serves on the Fraternal Order of Police Legal Aid Committee and is a Police Benevolent Association attorney.

She is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court Middle District and also regularly practices in every court in Upper Cumberland. Her practices areas include but are not limited to divorce, custody, orders of protection, car wrecks, dog bites, probate, elder abuse, first amendment, employment discrimination, and much more.
